OTITA Privacy Policy

Seee ("we") sets out below how the smartphone app "OTITA" (the "App") handles information about its users. If this English version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Information the App handles

Information kept only on your device

The following information is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers:

• When you tapped "Fall" and "Wake up", and the resulting records (history)
• Movies you saved to "Watch later"
• Settings (display language, chosen streaming service)

Deleting the App also deletes this information.

Purchase information

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to process and verify Premium (monthly subscription) purchases. When you purchase, your purchase history and an anonymous user ID created by the App for each device are sent from the App Store to RevenueCat. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your name, email address, or credit card number. Payments are handled by Apple.

Loading images

Movie poster images are loaded from Wikimedia Commons (Wikimedia Foundation) servers. As with visiting any website, your IP address and similar information are sent to the Wikimedia Foundation.

Opening external services

When you tap "Watch on …" with Premium, the page of your chosen streaming service (such as Netflix, Prime Video, U-NEXT, Hulu, or ABEMA) opens. When your time away is short, the App may also show a button that opens the website of the short film service SAMANSA (we are not affiliated with SAMANSA). How those services handle your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Purpose of use

We use the information we handle only to provide the App's features, to process and verify Premium purchases, and to respond to inquiries.

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not share user information with third parties except as required by law (other than the transmissions to the services described in section 1).

4. Analytics and advertising

The App does not use analytics tools or advertising.

5. Children

The App can be used by people of any age. The App does not send personal information to us, and we do not collect personal information from any user, including children under 13. Premium purchases follow the age and parental control settings of the App Store.

6. Changes

We will announce any changes to this policy in the App or on our website.
